1-on-1 lessons are possibly the best way to improve speaking skills, and for this reason many students use Lingoci to learn to speak Spanish fluently. However, you can also ask your tutor to help you with other skills, such as grammar & listening, as well as specific challenges like using Spanish at work & preparing for official exams. Whatever your background and motivation, consider signing up for a trial session to see if taking Spanish classes via Skype/Zoom is the right choice for you!
…..
You can learn at a pace that fits your schedule and goals – it’s completely up to you when and how often you take lessons. When you book your trial session, you’ll be able to see the live availability of each Spanish tutor according to your time zone, so you can make sure that the tutor you choose has lesson times that fit your schedule. Some of them have a lot of students!
Have very limited weekly availability? When choosing a tutor for a trial, simply complete a form to ask our support team to suggest an appropriate tutor. You can also change your tutor later on if required.
…..
Spanish lessons booked through our platform are usually taught via Skype, however you can ask to be taught via Zoom instead. Many tutors are able to accommodate this. Both tools are free, easy to use and perfect for language learning. They allow you to do everything you would do in a classroom: speak, listen, read, write, and share learning materials. Your tutor will typically provide corrections directly in the messaging area so that you can later revise everything you’ve learnt from your mobile or laptop.
Most Skype Spanish tutors also use other technologies and resources to enhance the learning experience, for example Google Docs (for real-time collaboration), videos, and PowerPoint slides. If you are unable to take the Spanish lessons via Skype or Zoom, please contact our support team and we’ll see if a tutor is able to use an alternative video technology.
…..
We only accept about 10% of the applications we receive. Whilst we consider qualifications and experience, we place equal value on communication skills and student reviews. The teachers are native speakers who can speak English too. Contrast this to other sites, which often allow anyone to teach, including folks with no experience at all.
The Spanish tutors on our site have an average rating of 4.9 stars out of 5 on an independent review site. Whichever Skype Spanish tutor you pick, you can be assured that they know what they’re doing.
Of course, each teacher is different and there may be one that you click with more than the others. So we recommend you check out the videos of each Spanish teacher and book a 30 minute trial session to make sure that they can meet your needs. Whilst you can see all of the Spanish teachers above, to view only those that are available for new students, you’ll need to sign up for a trial.

Aside from being more convenient, Spanish classes via Skype/Zoom tend to be cheaper than learning face-to-face as travel and classroom costs don’t exist. Of course, learning 1-on-1 with an experienced tutor is still not the cheapest way to learn a language. But we do believe it is the most effective.
